The Beginning

In the early 90's I realized that I was seeing scenes in my head as I listened to different pastors talk about God. I started making sketches of what I had envisioned. To get the realism that I wanted, I would clip reference photos from magazines and use them as a starting point. These began the first series of drawings with a Bible theme. It was then that I realized I had a strong desire to illustrate the Bible. Not the traditional scenes you are accustomed to seeing, but more modern and contemporary. It is my hope that my paintings will draw people in and cause a curiosity about the Bible.

My current series of wall art began in 2012 after reading a book, "Brave Intuitive Painting" by Flora Bowley. My artwork took a new direction from realism to intuitive partial abstract paintings. The bold colors are meant to attract your eye, and the imagery to hold your attention by stirring your emotions. And the positive affirmations are meant to speak to your spiritual side. I hope you enjoyed visiting my website and will come back often!

Artist View Point

God being the great Creator has blessed me with the ability to create. I believe that we are most like God when we create and it is during that time, I feel closest to Him.

My art expresses the hope of God's love for mankind. I create these paintings to bring glory to His kingdom and spread the good news of God's love to those who need Him.

I am inspired by God to create these spiritual wall artworks which are unique because they are intuitive, (not pre-planned). These vibrant colored, Biblically- themed paintings are intended to cause the viewer to self-examine the state of their soul.
